DESCRIPTION

ACNILYS® is a natural active ingredient specifically designed to regulate acne-prone oily skin and acne-related microbiota dysbiosis (focus on C.acnes phylotypes and virulent bacteria).

This potent molecular composition was identified based on Greentech scientists’ expertise in ethnopharmacology and pharmacognosy, to target acne-related pathways. ACNILYS® reduces sebogenesis as proved in an innovative model of iPSC-derived sebocytes. It also limits oxidized squalene-induced inflammation, preserving sebum quality and thus preventing dyseborrhea. Then, ACNILYS® exerts an inhibitory action on C.acnes-induced inflammation (reduced IL-8 secretion), promoting acne resolution.

ACNILYS® regulates acne according to an innovative systemic approach by also addressing acneic skin microbiota dysbiosis. It increases C.acnes phylotype diversity and reduces the abundance of the virulent phylotype IA1. ACNILYS® also decreases the abundance of Cutibacterium granulosum, a poorly known strain even though more virulent than C.acnes.
