DESCRIPTION

CANNABIDIOL (CBD) ISOLATE POWDER is an active ingredient of high purity & quality derived from hemp, titrated at 98% minimum in CBD, with a potent sebostatic, anti-inflammatory (broad spectrum activity) and antioxidant effects, ideal for intensively regulating and calming stressed combination to oily skin prone to blemishes, to regain a fresh and harmonious complexion.

When applied onto skin, it modulates the cutaneous endocannabinoid system as well as other biological pathways, many of which are of interest for the care of combination and oily skin prone to blemishes: sebogenesis, antioxidant defense, inflammatory pathways.

CANNABIDIOL (CBD) ISOLATE POWDER is a potent sebostatic active ingedient, fully inhibiting arachidonic acid-induced sebogenesis (proven in vitro in an innovative iPSC-derived sebocyte model). In vivo, it significantly reduces sebum production by -28% vs placebo after 7 days of daily use.

A series of in vitro tests has also shown an effect of CBD ISOLATE in reducing oxidative and inflammatory stress induced by LPS (pro-inflammatory agent mimicking the stress induced by Cutibacterium acnes). It stimulates the synthesis of glutathione (antioxidant peptide constituting a major defense of cells) and limits the production of harmful peroxidized lipids (MDA). Finally, CBD exerts a potent broad-spectrum anti-inflammatory activity, drastically limiting the secretion of major and minor cytokines in LPS-stressed keratinocytes.
