It is certainly the emblematic plant of Auvergne.The one that stands out against the tops of dormant volcanoes.

Iconic … and endemic, the gentian is truly at home in the Massif Central, where it flourishes ideally at more than 1,000 meters above sea level, drawing its strength from volcanoes.

 

This volcanic force gives it properties for balancing the skin.Auvergne will never cease to inspire us.
